At their most powerful, album covers transcend the music they announce and are art forms in their own correct. The face seems badly sad and insane but in one case you've looked, you can't cease looking. Coming Up (1996)

Looking at information technology now, my centre is drawn less to the dramatic commodities of black material behind her – which blows upwardly the tossing of her hair to epic proportions – and more to other advisedly-arranged surreal elements.

The floating, severed guitar head. The fish(?). What could just as well be cigarette burns or bullet-holes in the wall. Just like a dream, on closer inspection, it was weirder than it seemed at the time." – Sam
